TFS varsity basketball boys victorious over White County

The Tallulah Falls School varsity Indians bested the White County Warriors 49-39 in a Nov. 15 contest at White County High School.

According to head coach Jim Van Hooser, this is the third time in three years TFS has defeated the AAAA school.

“In a hard-fought defensive contest, the TFS players proved that they are tough enough to compete at a high level,” Van Hooser said. “I’m really proud of the grit the team showed in this game.”

Junior Hayden Johnson of Demorest – 10 points, 6 deflections and 2 steals
Junior Reeves Cody of Cornelia – 6 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 deflections and 2 steals
Junior Winston Davis of Nassau, Bahamas – 7 points, 7 rebounds, 5 deflections and 2 steals
