Lady Indians C-Team use complete team effort to take two wins at Commerce

The C-Team took on Commerce on the road on Monday evening, and came out with a pair of 2-0 wins.

The first set saw the Lady Indians dominate on the way to a 25-1 win. Jaylan Garrison went on an 18-point serving streak, while Julia Smith served for the final seven points to finish it off.

The second set proved much tougher, as TFS won 25-23. Gemma Garris went on an eight-point serving run, and it was a great team effort to win and end the game.

Lake Oconee also went down in straight sets to the Lady Indians, who dispatched them in a 25-7 opening set and 28-26 thriller to close it out. All members of the TFS team scored in the first set. Smith secured 11 points in the second set.

"It was a great team effort, and the girls showed grit to pull out the win," states coach Jo Kimbrel.

The C-Team is now 4-7 overall on the year.
