Lady Indians MS falls to Highlands

The TFS Lady Indians MS basketball team dropped a 35-22 decision to visiting Highlands on Monday evening. 

TFS fell behind early when Highlands went on a 6-0 run after the Lady Indians had struck first. After a timeout, Highlands went on to increase the lead up to 15-4 after one quarter. Emma Arden had all 4 first quarter points for TFS. 

The Lady Indians couldn't get much going in the second, as the deficit reached as much as 12 points, though Lupita Carillo's 4 points in the quarter got it to within 8 points. Highlands took a 20-8 lead into the half. 

In the second half, the Highlands lead ballooned to 21 at one point with a surge of buckets to open the third. TFS outscored Highlands 8-0 in the fourth to close out strong.

Arden and Cai led TFS with 6 points apiece, Kafsky had 5 points, and Carrillo had 4 points. Narissa Dawson had one point. TFS is now 3-4 on the season.
