TFS boys JV battled it out on Thursday against Towns County, winning  57-49. After a scoreless first two minutes, the Indians found their rhythm, taking an early 11-0 lead. At the end of the first quarter, TFS had a 9-point lead, leading 11-2.

TFS kept its rhythm in the second quarter, extending the lead to 14 behind a big 3-point shot from junior Tommaso Spagliardi with three minutes left in the half. The Indians held a 30-19 lead at the end of the half.

The second half began with Towns County scoring a string of points, cutting Tallulah Falls' lead to only 33-27. The scoring went back and forth throughout the third but TFS was able to maintain and extend its lead, leading 45-36 heading into the fourth.

Both teams played great defense starting the fourth quarter, with the score being 46-37 with four minutes left. Towns cut its deficit to seven with 2:30 left. However, another three from Spagliardi gave TFS a 52-41 lead with two minutes left. Towns County would not go quietly, however, quickly making the score 52-46. Tallulah however, would not be denied and pulled out the win, 57-49.

The JV team is now 2-0 on the season.
