MS Lady Indians grab first conference victory

Tallulah Falls' MS girls basketball team grabbed its first conference win of the season in a 28-16 Monday road game at Rabun Gap. 

Nora Mitchell led all scorers with 13 points. It was a slow start for both teams, as TFS led just 4-0 after one and 12-2 at the half. Rabun Gap inched closer to within 19-11 by the time the fourth quarter rolled around, but the Lady Indians secured the win with a solid final quarter. 

Beyond Mitchell's 13 points, Payton McEntire had 10, Mia Kerr had three, and Linda White had two. 

The girls move to 2-3 overall and 1-2 in Tri-State Conference play.
