Lady Indians put up clean sheet for season's first win

Kyndal Anderson had a stellar night in goal, and the defense locked down Prince Avenue Christian in a 2-0 home win on Thursday, notching the first victory of the season.

Tallulah Falls got a goal in the first half from Jenna Chesser, and LB Kafsky added one more in the final seconds of the contest to seal the win. Josie Chesser kept everything out of the back, and Anderson had an amazing save with a shot heading for the bottom right corner.

Josie Chesser and Bailey Crumley recorded assists, and the team put 19 shots on goal. Kafsky put six shots on target, Maddie LeBlanc four, Jenna Chesser three, Tessa Foor two, and one by Crumley.

"The girls truly are becoming a family," says coach Erin Jimenez, who picked up her first win. "It's so fun to watch them dance and sing in the locker room and then come out and play together as a team. They are going to do great things."

The Lady Indians are 1-1 on the season.
