Sanjur hits game-winning layup to send TFS past Rabun

The JV Lady Indians were trailing just about the entire game, but Lia Sanjur's layup with 10 seconds left gave TFS a 50-48 win at Rabun County on Friday night.

Rabun was up 15-4 after one and ahead 23-18 at halftime. Tallulah Falls trimmed the deficit down to 38-34 heading into the final quarter. Sanjur finished with 20 points, while Marian Nino had 19 points and 12 rebounds. Gracey Eller had 10 rebounds as well. Carla Guil chipped in with five points, while LB Kafsky and Joanna Molodynska added three each..

The JV girls are 7-4 on the season and 2-2 in region play.
