TFS tennis gets region preview with wins at Rabun County

The tough non-region schedule continued for Tallulah Falls while getting an early look at region foes Rabun County on Thursday. Both the Lady Indians and Indians came away victorious.

The Lady Indians won 5-0, keeping their perfect record intact. The Indians picked up a much-needed 3-2 win while getting all their points at singles.

"What a great day for our program," says coach Anthony Cox. "The girls were absolutely dominant, and the boys came away with a win against a region foe. The highlight of the night came when Glad [Puscasu], playing singles for the first time, clinched the win for the boys in dramatic fashion in a third-set tiebreak. While everyone looked on and cheered, he stayed composed and gutted out the win. We are really proud of all the players tonight."

The Indians are now 2-6 overall, while the Lady Indians are 8-0.
