TFS names Middle School Students of the Month for October

 
 

Four Tallulah Falls School middle school students have been selected by members of the TFS faculty as students of the month for October.  

FIFTH GRADE

The fifth grade student of the month for October is Julianne Shirley of Clarkesville. “Julianne is always prepared and participates in class,” said Stacie Besier, fifth grade English and history teacher. “She is always willing to help out a friend. Julianne comes to school each day with a smile on her face.”

SIXTH GRADE

The sixth grade student of the month is Ellesen Eubank of Clarkesville. “Ellesen is a self-motivated young lady who demonstrates an exceptional work ethic in all her academic classes,” said mathematics teacher Annette Shirley. “She is a hard worker who leads by example. She displays a positive attitude and works well with others. She is respected by her peers as well as her teachers.” 

SEVENTH GRADE

The seventh grader of the month is Barrett Whitener of Clayton. “Barrett is a true example of the light that shines at Tallulah Falls School,” said middle school English teacher Kim McClurg. “Barrett is extremely polite, respectful, and kind to the staff and her peers. She is always looking for ways to make the lives of those around her better. She has a positive attitude and works hard at everything she does.”

EIGHTH GRADE

The final middle school student of the month is eighth grader Olivia Rogowski of Martin.  “Many words come to mind to describe Olivia,” said Killeen Jensen, Georgia history teacher. “Olivia is a leader, she is focused and diligent in all that she does. She is also positive, humble, and focused.”
