Rotary awards scholarships to TFS seniors

Five Tallulah Falls School seniors were awarded scholarships by the Habersham Rotary Club on April 28.  Award amounts ranged from $500 to $1,000. According to Rotary member Philip Smith, the scholarships are both merit- and need-based. “We were able to offer more than in year's past,” Smith said. The recent Dancing with the Stars competition, a fundraiser for both Circle of Hope and Habersham Rotary, made possible the increase in numbers of students awarded, he confirmed.
