Festival held Sept. 13.
Five visiting teams were extended warm Tallulah Falls School hospitality at the 12th annual Cookies ‘n Quotes Cross Country Festival held on September 13 at the TFS Farm.
According to Athletic Director Scott Neal, senior Sunni Brett coordinated the baking of more than 600 cookies and collecting of quotes.
“Every participant, manager and coach received a personalized bag of three cookies and three quotes, in addition to joining us for burgers exquisitely grilled by Jamie Dunlap and Tom Tilley,” Neal said. “We had the most fans ever for a home meet and through Sunni’s leadership, harriers and spectators walked away with special memories.”
Top TFS performers included the first place boys team (35 pts) who defeated Rabun County, Towns County, Stephens County, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School and Commerce.
