TFS names middle school Students of the Month for September

 
 

 

Four Tallulah Falls School middle school students have been selected by members of the TFS faculty as students of the month for September. 

Fifth grade student of the month

The fifth grade student of the month for September is Lawson Fulbright of Toccoa. Fifth grade English/history teacher Stacie Besier said, “Lawson is a hard-working student. He listens attentively in class, is friendly and helps out whenever he can.” 


Sixth grade student of the month

The sixth grade student of the month is Keelie Parks of Mt. Airy.  Sixth grade mathematics instructor Annette Shirley said, “Keelie was presented this award for her exceptional work in her academic classes.  She is a  responsible student who leads by example by displaying a positive attitude and good work ethics.


Seventh grade student of the month

The seventh grader of the month is Emily Smith of Cleveland. “Emily was chosen for this honor by the 7th grade faculty because of her positive contributions to the school environment,” said 7th grade World History/World Geography teacher Nancy Almoyan. “She is kind to others and motivates her peers with a great attitude. Emily is a hard worker and extremely conscientious in her studies.”


Eighth grade student of the month

 

The final middle school student of the month is eighth grader Caroline Turpin of Demorest. Eighth grade Georgia history teacher Killeen Jensen said, “Caroline is a positive influence in class, focused on academics, and gives extra effort on assignments. She is a leader, helpful, and congenial.”
