TFS middle school Mass Communications class testing radio broadcast
Seventh-grade mass communications students are learning about yet another communication method. Radio is the latest in a series of media platforms studied this year.
“Our class mission is to introduce middle school students to careers and academic pathways in print, radio and television by engaging them in hands-on learning opportunities, including WTTR (Tallulah Talk Radio),” said teacher Elizabeth Kyle.

“We plan to introduce students to every piece of communications hardware and software in the middle school, from operating cameras in the student activity center to controlling presentations in ProPresenter to recording and editing audio files in iMovie,” Kyle said.
