TFS names middle school students of the Month for January
Four Tallulah Falls School middle school students have been selected by members of the middle school faculty as students of the month for January.
The fifth grade student of the month for January is C.J. Augustine of Demorest. “C.J. has greatly improved his focus and his school work,” English and history teacher Stacie Besier said. “He works very hard in class and everyone is always happy to be around him.”
The sixth grade student of the month is Maddie Mullis of Sautee Nacoochee. “Maddie is hard-working, self-motivated, focused and on-task,” mathematics teacher Annette Shirley said. “She is also kind, pleasant and a team player when working with other students.”
The seventh grade student of the month is Maggie Peacock of Clarkesville. “Maggie is always very polite to both her teachers and classmates, and the respect other students give her is admirable,” English teacher Kim McClurg said. “She is a genuinely sweet girl and her dedication and inner motivation to do well is apparent in everything she does. Maggie is soft-spoken and never has an unkind word for others. She always strives to do her best, is an excellent student, and an even better individual.”
The final middle school student of the month is eighth grader Maggie Jackson of Clarkesville. “Maggie is kind to everyone, focused and motivating,” Georgia History teacher Killeen Jensen said. “She is also positive, unifying, excited and enthusiastic about learning and always offers a warm smile to everyone.”
