TFS coaches select Indians of the Week

Tallulah Falls School coaches have named four Indians of the Week for the week of Feb. 13-18.

Gage Webb

VARSITY  BOY

Sophomore Gage Webb of Clayton was named an Indian of the Week by varsity baseball coach Mark Wilcox. “Gage pitched five innings against Lake Oconee Academy to get the first win of the year,” Wilcox said.  “He gave up only five hits, walked one and struck out nine which was pivotal for the Indian win.”

Mandy Santana

VARSITY GIRL

Sophomore Mandy Santana was selected as an Indian of the Week by varsity tennis coach Randy Morris. “Mandy is new to the game of tennis but this has not stopped her from contributing to the team,” Morris said. “She has already climbed from 20th to sixth on the depth chart and will be a huge factor in our success this year.”

Carmen Sotunde

MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRL

Carmen Sotunde, a seventh grader from Roswell, was named an Indian of the Week by track and field coach Scott Neal. “As a first-year track and field athlete Carmen has quickly spent the extra effort to learn new skills and be a good teammate,” Neal said. “She is positive in her outlook and equally determined to contribute to the life of the team. She regularly focuses on the task at hand and applies herself to improve and perform at her best.”

Chathan Clouatre

MIDDLE SCHOOL BOY

Eighth grader Chathan Clouatre of Toccoa was selected as an Indian of the Week by middle school baseball coach Bobby Hammond. “Chathan is the epitome of a hard worker,” Hammond said. “He is always first to practice, first in drills and first in line. He provides a great example of what we are looking for in our baseball program.”
