TFS students travel to St. Simons Island to serve community

Several Tallulah Falls School students were part of the Clarkesville First United Methodist Church youth group that traveled to St. Simons Island to do mission and service work this summer.

According to Rachel Brown,  interim youth director at CFUMC, the group stayed for two days at Epworth by the Sea, a Methodist retreat center.

“On the first day we completely cleaned a woman's yard that had been used as a trash dump,” Brown said. “On the second day we went to the pier and picked up trash around the park.”

Students participating include Layne and Reid Kafsky, Davis and Rebekah Jennings and Jenni Gallagher.
