TFS names middle school Students of the Month for January
Faculty members at the Tallulah Falls School middle school named four students as students of the month for January.
The fifth-grade student of the month for January is Monil Patel of Homer. “Monil was chosen because he is a hard worker,” said teacher Chrissy Van Hooser. “Monil always helps in class. He is always friendly and brings a unique perspective. We are very proud of Monil.”
The sixth-grade student of the month is Kylie Krueger of Alto. “Kylie is responsible, kind and a polite young lady,” said sixth-grade teacher Annette Shirley. “She is also self-motivated and always demonstrates a positive attitude. She is greatly respected by both her teachers and her classmates.”
The seventh-grade student of the month for January is Hutson Eller of Clarkesville. “Hutson is extremely respectful and polite, and he has a very gentle and kind spirit,” said seventh-grade teacher Kim McClurg. “One of his greatest attributes is that he always goes the extra mile in the classroom. Whatever the challenge is, he always gives his best so that the final product reflects quality work. Hutson is also dependable and consistent in all academic subjects, as well as on the basketball court.”
The eighth-grade student of the month for January is Maggie Peacock of Clarkesville. “Maggie is a motivated, responsible student,” said eighth-grade teacher Killeen Jensen. “She is very conscientious, focused on her classwork, enjoys learning and is curious and inquisitive.”
