TFS names All In Students of the Month for AugustĀ

A new community-building initiative launched this academic year at Tallulah Falls School is in motion. “All In” is the focus for upper school students, faculty and staff this year, said Upper School Academic Dean Kim Popham.

“We are incorporating this theme as an inspiration for academics and other activities,” Popham said. “Each month has a sub-theme and complementary activities. In August, we focused on family and celebrated being back together with our special kick-off event on Aug. 17.”

Each month, a student from each grade will be recognized by faculty and staff as the best representatives based on the monthly focus.

All In Students of the Month for August are freshman Emily Smith of Cleveland, sophomore Katy Corbett of Lakemont, junior Josh Shanks of Toccoa and senior Madison Ball of Tiger.

“The students selected in August exemplify a strong commitment to the TFS family,” Popham added.

Monthly themes are as follows:

August-Family
September-Purpose
October-Creativity
November-Gratitude
December-Diligence
January-Community
February-Kindness
March-Aspirations
April-Stewardship
May-Pride
