TFS coaches name Indians of the Week

Tallulah Falls School coaches have selected their Indian athletes of the week for February 19-24.

MIDDLE SCHOOL BOY

Seventh-grader Tyler Farmer of Mt. Airy was named a TFS Indian of the Week by middle school baseball coach Dustin Rogers. “Tyler was the first player present at every voluntary practice last week,” said Rogers. “He was working out before other guys were there and continue to work hard in the outfield and at the plate.”

VARSITY GIRL

Junior Madison Ball was named an Indian of the Week by varsity track and field coach Scott Neal. “Madison, a junior captain, continues to prepare diligently outside of required practices for her team to be successful,” said Neal. “She trained consistently in the off-season and then quickly contributed significantly to the life of the team when the season started. Madison is a strong leader of GREAT as she genuinely places team before self, yet strives daily to push past previous boundaries. She is the ultimate teammate.”

VARSITY BOY

Freshman Chathan Clouatre of Toccoa was selected as an Indian of the Week by varsity baseball coach Mark Wilcox. “Nathan is off to a great start to the year,” said Wilcox. “He is batting third and currently leads the team in hitting as a freshman. He is also becoming a force at catcher.”
