 TFS boys tennis team defeats Riverside Military Academy

The Tallulah Falls School varsity boys tennis team defeated Riverside Military Academy 4-1 in a match held March 27 at the TFS tennis complex. 

No. 1 singles player senior Marvin Thiennukul of Thailand led the way for the Indians as he dominated his opponent, 6-2, 6-0. Junior Zhiyang Shu of China won at the No. 2 singles position in a super-set tiebreaker, 6-8, 6-2, 10-4, while sophomore Hagan Eubank of Tallulah Falls powered his way to a win at the No. 3 singles spot, 6-3, 6-0. 

In doubles play, the team of seniors Joey Dekoskie of Clarkesville and Jake Carver of Demorest won their match handily, 6-1, 6-4 while freshman Josh Jackson of Alto and junior David Cheng of China were edged out in a super-set tiebreaker, 6-4, 2-6, 4-10.
