TFS names middle school Students of the Month for April

 
 

Faculty members at the Tallulah Falls School middle school have selected their students of the month for April.

The fifth-grade student of the month is Sarah Lundy of Clarkesville. “Sarah was chosen for several reasons,” said Chrissy Van Hooser, fifth-grade math teacher. “Sarah always tries her best in her classwork. She is always a great friend to her classmates and has a constant smile.” 

The sixth-grade student of the month is Kylee Loudermilk of Eastanollee. “Kylee exhibits a very responsible nature when presented with challenges,” said sixth grade English teacher Travis Mullis. “She exhibits respectfulness and kindness as well the pursuit of extracurricular activities that supported her own understanding and that of her classmates when she’s been given the opportunity to share.” b


Two seventh-grade students received student of the month honors. The first is Blair Moore of Demorest. “Blair has worked incredibly hard this semester and he has shown diligence, perseverance and commitment in each of his academic subjects,” said seventh-grade English teacher Kim McClurg. “He has been focused and completed his assignments thoroughly and on time. Blair shows pride in his work and is respectful to his classmates and teachers. He is also a dedicated athlete for TFS and runs both cross country and track & field.” 

Angelina Kim of Buford has also been named a seventh-grade student of the month for April. Angelina radiates positivity and always has a smile on her face,” McClurg said. “She is well-liked by all of her classmates and teachers and shows dedication and diligence in her academic work. Angelina is conscientious and can always be counted on to give her very best. As a boarding student, she adds enthusiasm and energy to all aspects of TFS life.  Angelina is also a cheerleader, devoting her spirit and vitality to the TFS sports community.”
