Tallulah Falls School coaches have selected their Indian athletes of the month for May.

VARSITY GIRL

Sophomore Brinson Hall of Mt. Airy was named an Indian of the Month by varsity girls golf coach Allen Campbell. “Brinson’s accomplishments include placing second in the Area championship tournament, First Team All-Area, seventh in the state finals and First team All-State,” Campbell said. “Brinson is a hard-working athlete with ‘true grit.’ No matter how much adversity she is facing she perseveres and finishes strong. She is a great teammate and an athlete that every coach loves to coach.”

VARSITY BOY

Sophomore Grey Bourlet of Tallulah Falls was selected as an Indian of the Month by track & field coach Scott Neal. “Grey led TFS to a 13th place finish at the state championships by scoring 16 points with third-place finishes in the 110m hurdles (a school record 14.97 seconds) and 300m hurdles,” Neal said. “He also placed sixth in the pole vault and anchored the 4x4 team in the state preliminaries. Grey was also given ‘the coin’ by graduating peer pole vaulters, an Area 2A-Private tradition given to the student-athlete that graduating vaulters feel is the top up-and-coming pole vaulter. Grey received the Top Performer award in TFS track & field as well as the Indian of the Year award, given to a top TFS multiple sport athlete.”
