TFS senior creates winning design for ride shirt

A student art contest generated a wide range of submissions for the chance to be featured on the 2019 Twin Rivers Challenge t-shirt.

The Twin Rivers Challenge cycling event is a fundraiser for student scholarships and is set for Oct.26 at Tallulah Falls School.

Tallulah Falls School senior Lea Dobromirov of Serbia produced a pencil drawing depicting the scenic beauty of Northeast Georgia. The piece features two cyclists, the two rivers referenced in the event name and the mountains.

“Since our annual Twin Rivers Challenge supports scholarships for TFS students, it is only fitting to feature student artwork on our t-shirts,” said Executive Director for Advancement Sonya Smith. “With so many talented students, it was difficult to make the final selection this year. Several entries would have made terrific shirts to go home with our riders from all across the Southeast. We’re excited to see Lea’s design on the final product.”

The back of the shirt also features the event sponsors, including presenting sponsor Ron Cantrell Construction, Inc. of Cleveland and meal sponsor Springer Mountain Farms.
