TFS senior creates winning design for ride shirt
A student art contest sparked creativity for the chance to be featured on the 2020 Twin Rivers Challenge T-shirt.
The Twin Rivers Challenge cycling event is a fundraiser for student scholarships and is set for Oct. 24 at Tallulah Falls School.
Tallulah Falls School senior Maggie Jackson produced the winning artwork, using watercolors to depict the scenic beauty of Northeast Georgia, adding other elements and lettering to illustrate the ride details.
“We are excited to once again feature student artwork on the ride T-shirt,” said Executive Director for Advancement Sonya Smith. “Choosing a single winner is always a difficult task among so many outstanding entries. Showcasing our students’ talent is the perfect way to remind the community of the reason for the event.”
The back of the shirt also features the event sponsors, including presenting sponsor Ron Cantrell Construction, Inc. of Cleveland and meal sponsor Springer Mountain Farms.
