TFS sees many put up personal bests at 'Winter Snow' meet

 
 

After a month's worth of hard work and being pushed out of their comfort zones, the TFS Swim teams had their third competition of the year this past Saturday at the Ruby Fulbright Aquatic Center. The annual Winter Snow competition was dubbed a day for dropping time for Tallulah Falls School swimmers. With over 90% of TFS swimmers achieving personal best times, it was a great day for Tallulah Falls School swimming.

Those who put up personal bests include: Courtney Bard (100 IM and 50 back), Olivia Bonner (50 free), Cole Borchers (50 free), Trevor Bramlett (50 Free and 100 Back), Penny Damron (50 free and 50 breast), Harry Goldfine (50 free), Carsyn Griffis (50 free and 100 free), Dan Griswold (50 free), Olivia Henderson (100 IM and 100 free), Logan Huling (100 free), Emma Jackson (100 free and 100 back), Jasmyn Marshall (50 free and 50 back), Carter Miller (100 breast), Landon Miller (50 free), Tamia Moss (100 Breast), Morgan Mullins (100 free and 100 breast), David Plaisted (50 free and 50 back), Henry Rickman (200 IM and 100 free), Molly Rickman (50 fly and 50 breast), Emery Sims (50 free and 100 free), Adelaide Tatum (100 free and 50 breast), Karis Tatum (200 IM and 100 free), Jack Thomson (50 free), Lily Turpin (50 free and 100 free), Abby Walker (50 free and 100 free), Keira Webb (50 free and 50 breast), Halle Weyrich (50 free and 500 free), Nelson Wilkinson (100 back), Ethan Williams (50 Fly), Emily Wolfe (50 and 100 Free), and Walker Wright (100 Free). 

The girls varsity and girls middle school teams both placed first in their divisions out of nine and seven teams, respectively. The boys varsity placed fourth out of nine teams while boys middle school placed fifth out of six teams. 

The swim teams compete next on January 1 at Habersham Central’s Hot Chocolate Invitational at Ruby Fulbright Aquatic Center.
