The seventh-grade student of the month is Lizzy Wanner of Toccoa.

“Lizzy has an enthusiasm and love for learning that is contagious. She motivates other students and her teachers by asking relevant questions regarding lessons and her positive attitude helps her accomplish whatever task is in front of her,” said teacher Kim McClurg. “She is extremely creative, and she goes above and beyond to add imagination and uniqueness to her major projects and papers.”

The sixth-grade student of the month is Carsyn Griffis of Tallulah Falls.

“Carsyn is a self-motivated young lady who demonstrates exceptional work ethics in all her academic classes. She is a hard worker who leads by example by displaying a positive attitude and working well with others,” said teacher Annette Shirley. “Carsyn is respected by her peers and teachers."

The fifth-grade student of the month is Drew Barron of Clarkesville.
