TFS names middle school Students of the Month for September

 
 

Middle school teachers at Tallulah Falls School have named Students of the Month for September in all grades as follows: 

Fifth grade – Linda White
Fifth-grade teachers have selected Linda White of Toccoa as the Student of the Month for September.
Linda was chosen for her exceptional work ethic in class. Linda always listens and asks questions when needed. She is also always kind to her fellow students and all of her teachers.. The fifth grade is brighter because she is here! We are proud of Linda!

Sixth Grade – Drew Barron | Laurel Blake Kafsky
Sixth-grade teachers have selected Drew Barron of Clarkesville and Laurel Blake Kafsky of Clarkesville as the Students of the Month for September.
Drew was presented this award for his exceptional work in his academic classes. Drew is a  responsible student who leads by example by displaying a positive attitude and good work ethics.
Laurel Blake is self-motivated and is on task.  She is kind, well-mannered, responsible and she leads by example by showing good work habits and a positive attitude.

Seventh Grade – Kaylin Pickett
Seventh-grade teachers have selected Kaylin Pickett of Demorest as the Student of the Month for September.
Kaylin is conscientious and completes all assignments with 100 percent effort or more.  She consistently does more than the requirements for assignments and projects.  She provides valuable and insightful input into class discussions and is extremely respectful to her classmates and teachers.  Kaylin loves basketball and was a member of the TFS basketball team last year.  What makes all of this more impressive is that her positive attitude and wonderful attributes have been recognized by her teachers even though Kaylin is a virtual learner, participating in all online classes.  Congratulations to Kaylin!

Eighth Grade – Rylee Vandiver | Jackson Wiese
Eighth-grade teachers have selected Rylee Vandiver of Mt. Airy and Jackson Wiese of Alto as the Students of the Month for September.
Rylee has shown great perseverance in the face of adversity, never allowing circumstances to impact her learning and creating. Also, Rylee really cares about others; she is always considering what is best for the people around her.
Jack persistently works through and overcomes adversity. This young man models a great work ethic and participation in group activities; he is a team player. In addition, he has an unwavering kindness about him and remarkable creativity.
