TFS soccer sweeps Loganville Christian for key region wins

The TFS soccer teams took to the pitch on Tuesday night against visiting Loganville Christian, and came out winners in both contests.

LADY INDIANS

The Lady Indians escaped with a 2-1 win, led by Honora Kahwach and a combined stellar defensive performance. Keygan Antosiak notched her first career goal in the 31st minute, assisted by Kahwach to get TFS on the board.

The 1-0 lead stayed true til the half. The second half saw a frustrated Loganville Christian group put much more pressure on the defense, though time and again the Lady Indians thwarted attempts to get a clean shot on goal. In the 47th minute, Kahwach scored on a sensational free kick from way outside the box.

Her goal proved to be the game-winner, as LCA notched a goal moments later to cut it to 2-1. TFS is now 5-3-1 overall and 5-2 in region play.
