Seven TFS athletes compete in Spring Break Showdown
The TFS track and field teams took a total of seven individuals on Saturday to the 4th Annual Spring Break Showdown in Marietta.
Simeon Respress and Macy Murdock posted runner-up finishes to highlight the TFS success. Evan Prince, Grey Bourlet, Respress and Murdock all had multiple top-10 finishes in their events.
The boys finished 8th out of 38 teams, while Respress and Bourlet set school records, while Walker Bailey and Zhigao Henrry Xiong posted personal bests as well.
GIRLS
- Dani Prince - 46th in 400 M Dash & 20th in 100 MH
- Macy Murdock - 2nd in 400 MH, 10th in 100 MH & 13th in High Jump
BOYS
- Simeon Respress - 2nd in High Jump, 2nd in Long Jump, 60th in 400 M Dash
- Grey Bourlet - 5th in Pole Vault, 5th in 400 MH & 8th in 110 MH
- Evan Prince - 6th in 3200 & 9th in 1600
- Walker Bailey - 36th in 800 & 48th in 1600
- Zhigao Henrry Xiong - 43rd in 1600 & 46th in 800
