MS cross country competes in Tri-State meet at Highlands

The TFS middle school cross country teams traveled Tuesday to Highlands (NC) to compete in the Tri-State number three meet.

The boys exceled with a first-place finish overall, and were paced by Bentley Huff and Ethan Simmons, who finished first and third, respectively. Ryder Cantrell was the final scorer for TFS at seventh overall.

The girls narrowly lost by just six points, as Lizita Miller came in third and Olivia Henderson and Carsyn Griffis sixth and seventh, respectively.
