JV volleyball takes hard-fought road win over Highlands

The Lady Indians JV volleyball team earned their tenth win of the season in a Tuesday road match at Highlands (NC). The girls won 2-0 to move to 10-4 on the season.

After a tight 25-20 first set, the Lady Indians secured the win in a 25-19 second set. 

"The girls had to fight from behind to win both sets," says coach Danielle Smith. "I'm proud of their grit and determination. Serving from Kyndal Anderson and Julia Smith along with strong blocks from Skylyn and Ashlyn Yaskiewicz led the team tonight."

The 10-4 Lady Indians will return to the court in a weekend tournament at Monroe Area on September 18.
