Bass fishing team opens season at Lake Chatuge

The TFS bass fishing team opened the 2021-22 season with a tournament on Lake Chatuge on September 25. 

The duo of George Ketch and Austin Zigler placed 28th overall with two fish weighing in at 5.67 pounds. Haygen James and Koen Eller competed, but didn't reel in a catch. Those teams competed in the high school division.

In the junior division, the team of DJ Broome and Jack Thomson tied for 23rd without catching a fish.

The bass fishing team competes next on November 6.
