TFS names middle school Students of the Month for November

 
 

Middle school teachers at Tallulah Falls School have named Students of the Month for November in all grades as follows: 

Fifth grade – Jackson Davis

Fifth-grade teachers have selected Jackson Davis of Cornelia as the Student of the Month for November. 

Jackson always comes to class with a smile on his face. He enjoys learning. Jackson actively seeks to contribute in class. We are proud of Jackson!

Sixth Grade – Reilly Cox

Sixth-grade teachers have selected Reilly Cox of Cornelia as the Student of the Month for November. 

Reilly is responsible and respectful to his teachers and classmates. He is a quiet leader among his peers and a friend to all. Not only does he excel in the classroom, but he also excels in extra-curricular activities. Reilly has a great work ethic and embodies the Tallulah 12.

Seventh Grade – Avery Keim

Seventh-grade teachers have selected Avery Keim of Clarkesville as the Student of the Month for November. 

 Avery is a conscientious and diligent student who also shows compassion and concern for others.  She was instrumental in the TFS November food drive where she spent several hours counting cans.  In the classroom, she is an eager learner, asking thoughtful questions and providing mature responses during class discussions. She is also always willing to try new things and has competed on the middle school reading bowl team this year.  Finally, she is a two-sport athlete, participating in both cross country and track.  Congratulations to Avery, our November Student of the Month!

Eighth Grade – Wyatt Dorsey and Carsyn Griffis

Eighth-grade teachers have selected Wyatt Dorsey of Cleveland and Carsyn Griffis of Tallulah Falls as the Students of the Month for November. 

Wyatt works well with other students.  He is diligent in his school work and always participates in class.  Wyatt is a trustworthy student and considerate of others.

Wyatt is a quiet leader who leads by example. He has a clever wit that adds to his overall intelligence.

– Tom Tilley

Wyatt Dorsey has shown tremendous improvement in both his effort and achievement this first semester. He is an active learner who asks good questions and makes good connections. He is a positive influence in the classroom.

Wyatt has impressed me with his awareness, patience, and readiness to contribute in any setting. I am excited to see how he continues to grow as a leader.

Carsyn is loved by her classmates. She is genuine and kind to others.  Carsyn is respectful and has strong leadership skills. She has a positive attitude and a great attitude.

Carsyn is a  brilliant history student who not only absorbs historical facts, she adds brightness to the room every day.

– Sonya Chesser

Carsyn not only excels academically but is a positive role model for her peers. She is one of the first to encourage and include students who might otherwise be on the edges of the action in class. She works hard, strives for excellence, and is a good friend to those around her.

Carsyn is a phenomenal young lady who shines with confidence and kindness, a leader among her peers. Anyone would tell you that Carsyn is someone they want on their team.
