TFS names middle school Students of the Month for August

Middle school teachers at Tallulah Falls School have named Students of the Month for August in all grades as follows: 
 

Fifth grade – West Riddlehoover

Fifth-grade teachers have selected West Riddlehoover of Cornelia as the Student of the Month for August. 

West was chosen because he consistently works hard and contributes in class. He always takes care of others. West is also very funny and makes class fun for his fellow students and teachers. We are proud of West!

Sixth Grade – Emma Whisnant

Sixth-grade teachers have selected Emma Whisnant of Toccoa as the Student of the Month for August.

Emma is cheerful and has a good sense of humor. She is consistently prepared for class and is a high achiever. She enjoys playing volleyball at the TFS middle school.

Seventh Grade – Stella Rose Bowman

Seventh-grade teachers have selected  Stella Rose Bowman of Cleveland as the Student of the Month for August.

Stella Rose exudes kindness and compassion. In just one month of school, she has emerged as a peer helper, a door holder, a smile giver, and an encourager. She has invited teachers to have lunch with her. She greets the teachers upon entering the classroom and says thank you when leaving.  And she gives 100-percent to everything she does…even creating her own “book club” outside of class. Thank you, Stella Rose, for your positive energy! Congratulations on a well-deserved honor!

Eighth Grade – Shelby Whisnant

Eighth-grade teachers have selected Shelby Whisnant of Toccoa as the Student of the Month for August. 

Shelby leads her peers with kindness, excellence in her work, responsibility, selflessness, and intelligence.
