TFS names middle school Students of the Month for September

Middle school teachers at Tallulah Falls School have named Students of the Month for September in all grades as follows:

Fifth grade – Caroline Shoemaker

Fifth-grade teachers have selected Caroline Shoemaker of Cornelia as the Student of the Month for September.

Caroline was chosen for her diligence in the classroom. She consistently works hard and is very considerate of others. We are very proud of Caroline!

Sixth Grade – Owen Earp

Sixth-grade teachers have selected Owen Earp of Cornelia as the Student of the Month for September.

Owen strives daily to follow the Tallulah 12. He is respectful, shows gratitude, is aware of his surroundings, contributes in class, and builds community. These qualities are evident as he consistently inquires about students' well-being, thanks teachers for their time, picks up items dropped on the floor, and takes students their items left in classrooms. Owen is also involved in cross country this semester. The 6th-grade teachers are proud of Owen and his daily effort to follow the T12.

Seventh Grade – Caleb Kelly

Seventh-grade teachers have selected Caleb Kelly of Demorest as the Student of the Month for September.

Once you know Caleb and his work ethic, it’s not hard to see why he deserves this award. Caleb goes the extra mile on all assignments and asks questions. He is very inquisitive and wants to know why. Caleb is a good friend to his classmates and helps out even when it’s not convenient. He demonstrates school spirit throughout the year. He is a member of the cross country team and runs the 800- and 1600-meter events on the track team. Caleb represents TFS well both at school and within our community, and for that reason, we are proud to honor him with Student of the Month. Congratulations, Caleb!
