Tallulah Falls girls 12th, boys 17th in State Championships

 
 

The TFS cross country teams raced in the GHSA State Championships first thing Saturday morning. The Indians opened with a 17th-place team finish, better than their virtual projected finish. TFS was paced by Timothy Beck's 58th-place finish with a 19:15 time.

The Lady Indians followed up with a 12th-place run as a team. Sara Bailey led the girls with a time of 24:53, good for 55th overall.

The season comes to a close for TFS XC, with both teams making state and coming in the top-20.
