Indians of the Week: November 21-26

TFS has named the Indian of the Week for the week of November 21-26. This week's selections are Tanisha Seymour and Diego Crotta for high school, and Joshua Newell and Callee Elrod for middle school. MORE INDIANS OF THE WEEK

Tanisha Seymour - Basketball

Tanisha Seymour had a strong tournament display, shooting 63% from the field, averaging 6 rebounds, and hitting 100% from the free-throw line. She had 15 pts and 6 rebounds in the Jefferson EMC Tournament vs Buford HS in the championship game. She was named to the all-tournament team along with teammate Denika Lightbourne. -coach Lowell Hamilton

Diego Crotta - Basketball

Diego Crotta had 18 points on 5 threes in the championship game during the Jefferson EMC Tournament. Crotta also added 5 rebounds and 3 assists to his stat line. -coach Cody Coleman

Callee Elrod - Cheerleading

Callee Elrod Cheerleading. Callee is a leader on the cheer squad. She is quick to help not only her coach but a fellow cheerleader. Callee always comes to practice with a smile on her face and has a positive attitude in all practices and games! -coach Chrissy Van Hooser

Joshua Newell - Basketball

Joshua was a great leader on the court this past week for the B-Team. He ran the point position against the woody gap, and did a fantastic job finding his teammates. Joshua has been a hard worker and always ready to receive instruction on how to improve. -coach Nathan Stanley
