Precision Rifle earns senior night win over Buford

On an evening in which the Precision Rifle team honored its lone senior, Jue "Florence" Wang, Tallulah Falls secured a win over a Class 7A program.

TFS won 1142-1093 over visiting Buford on Thursday. Junior Joseph McGahee fired a 289, just 3 points off his shared school record with Wang. Fellow junior Marc Crotta was close behind with a 188.

Meanwhile, sophomore Chloe Erwin posted a score of 284, Wang 281, and sophomore Leah Rogers rounded out the scoring with a 276. The team's 1142 score was a mere 7 points off the school record, and a full 3 points better from the team's outing against the same Buford team nearly a year ago.

Tallulah Falls is now 6-1 overall on the season, and compete on February 9 at Dawson County in the final match prior to the Area 6 Sectionals.
