Ariel Kelsick - Tennis

Ariel dominated the competition at the #1 singles line in the season's first month. She won all four matches easily with a combined game score of 48-5 while winning all 8 sets. Ariel has a very focused approach to tennis, and her steady demeanor serves her well in her match play. While she is not a very outspoken person in general, she has really made an effort to be a more vocal leader by encouraging her teammates during their matches. Ariel has been a tremendous addition to our program and is helping elevate our level each day in practice and during matches. -coach Anthony Cox

TJ Cox - Tennis

TJ has really stepped up early this season in the #2 singles line. He is 4-0, coming from down 0-4 in the first set against Habersham to cruise to victory in the second and third sets. Against solid competition in the other three matches, he only lost five games winning in straight sets each time. TJ has really elevated his level of play so far this year, and we look forward to seeing what the rest of the season and his career has in store. -coach Anthony Cox

LB Kafksy - Soccer

8th grade captain LB Kafsky is an all-around leader on the middle school girls soccer team. LB leads the team in goals scored with a total of 16 goals as of March 6. She has contributed to more than half of the team’s total goal count of 30 thus far. She has also tallied many scoring assists and has filled in at various other positions willingly. In addition to the obvious athletic talent and soccer ability that LB possesses, one of her most outstanding qualities is that of humbleness. She is always thanking her teammates for helping her achieve success on the field, and is the first one to congratulate her teammates when they do well along side her. Her ‘team first ‘ attitude is contagious and when she speaks, the team listens. She is well-respected and admired by her coaches, fellow players and opponents alike. LB, with her amazing work ethic, exuberant personality and gifted leadership skills will be a valuable asset to the TFS girls soccer program for many years to come. -coach Laura Higbie

Kale Borchers - Soccer

8th-grader Kale Borchers has had a stellar season thusfar for the Indians. In the first 5 games of the season, in which Tallulah Falls is 4-1, Borchers has led the team with 17 goals so far, and is tied for the team lead with 5 assists.
