Hanna earns 2nd Team All-State recognition

 
 

After being named a Preseason All-State selection by Sandy's Spiel, senior Anfernee Hanna was recognized again with the postseason honor. Hanna was named a 2nd Team All-State member.

The small forward had a remarkable season, scoring 507 total points and a school record 18.8 points per game. His point total is second all-time in a single-season. During the season, Hanna eclipsed 1,000 career points, making him just the fifth member of the exclusive club in school history. His final tally of 1,204 ranks third all-time.

Hanna also secured 620 career rebounds (2nd all-time), making him one of only three players to be a 1,000-point, 500-rebound member. He also had 124 career asssists, 32 career blocks (5th all-time), 97 steals, 273 free throws made (2nd), 445 field goals made (tied 1st), and is the most winning player in TFS history with 65 wins.

Overall, Hanna averaged 18.8 points and 8.1 rebounds per game, adding 2.7 assists and 1.1 steals while earning All-Region honors for a third straight season.

The Indians went 17-10 overall, 4-4 in region play, and were ranked as high as #4 in the state during the campaign, and advanced to the state tournament for the fourth straight season.
