Addie Higbie - Soccer

Senior Addie Higbie had 22 goals and 3 assists in March. Higbie has helped her team achieve a 10-3 regular season record and runner-up in the region for the third consecutive year. Having coached Addie for the past five years, beginning in middle school, I have watched her grow into a true goal-scorer, and this season she has unleashed her potential. Addie has also tried to provide assists for several of her teammates to ensure they are ready to carry the torch into the future. With determination, commitment, and a real love for the beautiful game, senior Addie Higbie is deserving of IOM. -coach Travis Mullis

Frankey Moree - Baseball

Frankey Moree has gotten off to a great start this season. He is hitting .474 with 3 doubles, 3 triples, and 4 home runs. His home run against Prince Avenue last week set a new school record for home runs in a career. Frankey has been our most consistent performer this season. He brings the same energy, effort, and focus daily to the park. He has worked extremely hard to get to this point and it has been fun to watch him grow into the player he is becoming. -coach Justin Pollock

Narissa Dawson - Soccer

Narissa has been playing the difficult center back position on the soccer team and has made some incredible long-distance runs to make game-saving stops. Narissa never gives up if an opponent gets past her, and she is quick to recover. Narissa has an excellent combination of manners, drive, skill, and confidence. She has been an eighth-grade captain on the team, and we would not have been successful without her efforts and leadership. -coach Laura Higbie

William NeSmith - Baseball

William NeSmith is an exceptional young man, who gives nothing short of his greatest effort in athletics and academics. He is quick to step up as a leader, provides leadership by example and also vocally, and shows the utmost respect to his coaches and teachers. He's the fastest player on the baseball team, and is an on-base machine. He has hit .400 this season with team-highs 13 runs scored and 9 stolen bases, and carries a .556 OBP. William makes several hustle plays and has a great arm in the outfield. He is more than deserving of Indian of the Month. -coach Dustin Rogers
