Precision Rifle team finishes 10th at GHSA State Championships

 
 

Tallulah Falls competed for a second straight season at the GHSA State Championships, this year at the University of North Georgia. A year after finishing 9th at state, the team again showed they were one of the best in the state with a 10th-place finish.

In the first relay, Marc Crotta and Joseph McGahee represented TFS. Crotta fired a 287, with McGahee at 283. In the second relay, Leah Rogers, Chloe Erwin, and Jue Wang all competed. Rogers had a 285, while Erwin was at 282 and Wang 280. 

TFS had a team score of 1137, earning 10th place among all classifications.

"Our season averages increased dramatically this year, we set new school records, and everyone has new personal records," says coach Katie Keister. "We’re excited to see what this team will continue to accomplish next year!"
