Indians move on to first-ever Sweet 16 with 4-0 blanking of Darlington

16 is a sweet number! The Indians won their 16th game in a row, taking a 4-0 clean sheet win over visiting Darlington in the first round to reach their first-ever Sweet 16.

TFS, ranked #1 in the state, allowed only a few shots on goal, and Kelton Reynolds saved them all. Tallulah Falls got a pair of goals in the first half and scored two more in the second half to put it away.

"Guys played great," says coach Jeremy Stille. "We were a little jittery at first, probably just nerves, but they stayed strong and pressed Darlington relentlessly. The guys are now focused and ready for the Sweet 16 next week."

Jake Wehrstein got the Indians on the board a mere 4 minutes into action, as Jake Hall assisted. Austin Ball scored with 28 minutes left in the half on a nice assist from Clay Kafsky.

Landon Hall scored on an assist in the second half from Kelton Reynolds, and Simeon Conjagic assisted Koen Eller for the other 2 goals. The Indians are 16-0 on the season and will play Tuesday at home in the second round.
