Broome, Crumley take 3rd-place finish at Clarks Hill

The middle school (junior division) duo of DJ Broome and Shepard Crumley had an outstanding performance this past Saturday in the Clarks Hill tournament.

In what marked the final regular season tournament, Broome and Crumley came in third to secure a runner-up finish in the Angler of the Year standings. They caught 5 fish for a total of 12.11 pounds, accounting for 298 points toward AOY.

Broome and Crumley will now take part in the State Championships at Lake Eufaula in early June.
