State Playoff Preview: Lady Indians Tennis

For the first time since 2000, the Lady Indians are the region champions. That was a long time coming, and with it comes a third consecutive state playoff appearance.

TFS has not knowingly played a home match in the postseason, however. That's a first. The Lady Indians are a perfect 14-0 on the season, setting a program record for wins. Ariel Kelsick at 1-singles is unbeaten at 14-0, as is Jaeda-Lee Daniel-Joseph (13-0) at 2-singles. Ava Carnes now has 8 wins at 3-singles, and the doubles combo of Katarina Foskey and Azaria Junaid have 7 wins. Cassidy Hayes and Landry Carnes at 2-doubles have 5 victories.

Kelsick is the single-season wins leader in TFS history now, and is hoping for more. Armuchee makes the trip up for a 2 PM match at Tallulah Falls, and is the 4-seed from Region 6-A DI.
