Moree named Region POY as Indians have seven on All-Region list

All-Region lists were released by Region 8-A DI for baseball, and seven Indians earned distinction. Frankey Moree headlined the group, as he was named Region Player of the Year.

Moree, a senior, was 1st Team All-Region, and he was joined by junior Rohajae Pinder. Junior Caden Walker and sophomores Chase Pollock and Cole Bonitatibus were named 2nd Team All-Region, and sophomores BJ Carver and Danny Grant were Honorable Mentions.

Moree led TFS with a .468 average, 7 homeruns, 21 RBI, and 32 runs scored. His 44 hits and 7 homeruns are single-season school records. Pinder carried a .297 average with 1 HR and 21 RBI.

Walker (.362-1-12), Pollock (.297, 7 RBI, 6-2, 2.91 ERA), and Bonitatibus (3-5, 1 Save, 3.22 ERA, 46 K) were among the standouts this season. Carver hit .267 with 17 RBI and Grant batted .325 with 17 RBI.
