State Preview: Track & Field

 
 

With a successful outing at the GHSA 1A DI Sectional last weekend, Tallulah Falls has qualified in 15 events for the GHSA State Championships in Rome beginning on Thursday, May 11.

Below is the daily schedule for each event as relates to Tallulah Falls School athletes. The Indians finished 26th at state last season, while the Lady Indians were 14th. Both squads will be looking to improve upon those finishes.

Thursday, May 11

  • Ade Akisanya - Shot Put (10 AM) - 13th Place (41-6)
  • Sam Ketch - Discus (12:15 PM)
  • Julianne Shirley - High Jump (12:15 PM)
  • Nana Amankwah - Triple Jump (2:30 PM)
  • Jace Ibemere - Triple Jump (4:45 PM)

Friday, May 12
