Four Indians earn GACA All-State distinction

GACA announced All-State honors for boys soccer, and four Indians earned the distinction. Tallulah Falls had junior Austin Ball and senior Jake Hall earn 1st Team All-State recognition, while junior Jake Wehrstein and sophomore Kelton Reynolds also taking 2nd Team honors.

Ball, the Region Player of the Year, had a school-record 39 goals and record 16 assists, as he is the all-time leader in both categories. Hall, a 1st Team All-Region member, had 26 goals and 10 assists and was instrumental as the team earned its first-ever Region Championship, first-ever Sweet 16 run, and first-ever #1 state ranking.

Wehrstein recorded 2 goals and 2 assists, but was an anchor on the back line, and was named Region Defensive Player of the Year. 1st Team All-Region keeper Reynolds posted 13 shutouts, a school single-season record, and has the all-time mark of 17 entering his junior year. Both Wehrstein and Reynolds were named All-State 2nd Team.
