Lady Indians finish fifth at state as Lundy finishes career with top-10 finish

In the final match of her high school career, senior Hannah Lundy put the Lady Indians on her back and guided TFS to a 5th-place finished at state, carding a team score of 390 in the 2-day tournament at Arrowhead Pointe Golf Club in Elbert County in the GHSA 1A DI State Championships.

The girls shot a 201 on Tuesday after coming in with a 189 on the first day. Lundy came in 10th individually, firing a 194 score, including a first-day tally of 90. Mallory Higgins was outstanding as well, coming in 13th-place overall with a total score of 196. Raegan Duncan (224) was 29th while Madeline Martin (236) was 35th.

"Hannah has truly been a blessing for the Tallulah Falls golf program," exclaims coach Matt Crotta. "She poured her heart into this program for four years, which led to many awards, accomplishments, and fulfillment of many personal goals. I can't express with words the value of Hannah's leadership as captain for the past two seasons. I am grateful for all of her contributions to our program and for the legacy she left on Tallulah Falls golf."

The top-5 finish at state was the fourth time in program history finishing that high, following their State Runner-Up finish in 2021.
