Mattie Patterson - Swimming

Mattie Patterson, a two-year varsity swimmer, earned two state cuts in our inaugural Light in the Mountains Invitational in January. She swam a personal best time in both the 500 freestyle and 200 individual medley. With these events, she has qualified in four individual events. At our upcoming GHSA state meet in February, Mattie will be swimming in two individual and two relay events. We look forward to following her success at the state meet! -coach Tamara Griffis

Caden Polley - Swimming

Caden Polley swam two personal best times in the 100 fly and 100 breast at the Light in the Mountains Invitational earlier in January. Caden dropped over one second in the 100 fly and over two seconds in the 100 breaststroke. Then, at the last chance meet at Marist, he again swam two personal best times in those events. Caden has qualified in and will be swimming all three relay events at the GHSA state meet in February. -coach Tamara Griffis
